Decree No. 186 of 2014 of Georgian Government on the Measures for Effective Implementation of the Association Agreement including the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement (DCFTA) between Georgia and the European Union

Abstract
This Decree provides that Georgia initialed the Association Agreement with the European Union (the EU) at the Vilnius Summit on 29 November 2013. The Agreement will be signed not later than early autumn of 2014. Implementation of the Association Agreement shall start before it is signed under the so-called Association Agenda. Georgia and the EU have launched negotiations on the Association Agenda to create a solid ground for implementing the Association Agreement and to define priorities for 2014-2016. Accordingly, ensuring effective implementation of the Association Agreement is one of the most important priorities of the Government of Georgia. The Resolution further provides for assigned functions to different governmental institutions in the area of the DCFTA implementation.
