Decree No. 346 of 2003 of Georgian President on Sanitary Protection Zones of Resort Borjomi

This Decree regulates the sanitary protection zones of the resort Borjomi. Specifically, it approves the plan of sanitary-health measures in the sanitary protection zones of the resort Borjomi, and defines three zones of sanitary protection of the resort. The purpose of the Decree is to maintain the health properties of the natural resources of Borjomi, and their protection from pollution, damage and depletion, as well as industrial development and settlement of population in its territory. The resort Borjomi is renowned for its groundwater, which, among others, is used for bottled water production.
