Decree No. 415 of 2008 of Georgian President on National Response Plan to Natural and Technogenic Emergencies

This Decree approves the Response Plan to Natural and Technogenic Emergencies. It consists of three chapters: General provisions (I); Management of the unified system of emergencies, and the functioning of its components (II); Mitigation and liquidation of emergencies and its results (III). The Decree also the functions of emergency management, among others, listing fire-fighting in forest fires (Function 8); Ensuring energy supply (Function 9); Ensuring the protection of animals and plants (Function 10); Ensuring chemical and radiation safety (Function 11); and Provision of food and water (Function 16).
