Decree No. 457 of 1997 of Georgian President on Restoration and Development of Coal Industry

This Decree provides for the program about restoration and development of coal industry. It consists of six sections: Main priorities of the program (1); Plan of measures for the stabilization of launching and production in the coal industry (2); Formation of market environment (3); Long-term strategic priorities (4); Protection of environment; control of environmental pollution and safety (5); and Support and influence of the government (6). The document provides that only ecologically clean technologies will be used in the restoration measures.
