Decree No. 88 of 2002 of Georgian President on Measures Related to Enactment of Law on Appellations of Origin and Geographical Indications of Goods

This Decree regulates the measures related to enactment of the Law of Georgia on Appellations of Origin and Geographical Indications of Goods. More specifically, the Decree adopts the Charter on Determining, Registering, Use and Control of Appellations of Origin of Wines and Wine Brandies; and the Charter on Determining, Registering, Use and Control of Appellations of Origin of Natural Mineral and Source Waters. The Decree also adopts the List of Appellations of Origin of Wines (Annex No. 1); Conditional Boundaries of Specific Zones of Wine-making for Wines with Appellations of Origin; the List of Appellations of Origin of Wine Brandies (Annex No. 2); Conditional Boundaries of Specific Zones of Wine-making for Wine Brandies with Appellations of Origin; the List of Appellations of Origin of Natural Mineral and Source Waters (Annex No. 3); and Conditional Boundaries of Deposits of Natural Mineral and Source Waters with Appellations of Origin.
