The Environmental Protection Education for Sustainable Development – National Strategy and Action Plan of Georgia for 2012-2014 is a national sectoral strategy and action plan. Its main objective is to organize environmental education in a way that every citizen of Georgia develops responsibility toward the environment, and so that every public action is based on knowledge, values, and attitude toward a rational change in the society. Among others, the document provides for improving the environmental education within the education system; and connecting stakeholders within the environmental education field.
