Georgian Parliament Strategy for Supporting and Monitoring of Implementation of Sustainable Development Goals for 2019-2030 and Action Plan for 2019-2022

The Georgian Parliament Strategy for Supporting and Monitoring of Implementation of Sustainable Development Goals is a national multi-sectoral strategy for the period 2019-2030. Its main goal is to encourage the implementation of sustainable development agenda by an effective supervision and law-making. The goal is broken down into four objectives: the Georgian Parliament shall support the implementation of the sustainable development goals in Georgia by law-making and policy-making; the budgetary process reflects the needs of the sustainable development goals; the Georgian Parliament shall undertake effective monitoring of the implementation of the sustainable development goals by the Georgian Government; and the parliamentary process of supervision is open and accessible to the Georgian citizens.
