Georgia’s State Youth Policy Development Action Plan (2015-2020)

The Georgia’s State Youth Policy Development Action Plan (2015-2020) is a national cross-sectoral action plan. Its main objectives are raising awareness of the youth about their civil rights and responsibilities; developing youth activities; providing the opportunity and skills for the youth to participate in decision-making process; creating a conducive environment for youth initiatives, and supporting such initiatives; supporting a sustainable development of youth organizations; institutional development of volunteering; promoting youth participation in cultural and recreational activities; promoting youth tourism; raising awareness among the youth about environmental protection and promoting their participation in these activities; investing in the qualification of the youth; informing the youth about different types of education and employment; promoting innovative projects by the youth; improving the socio-economic conditions of the youth living in regions, high mountainous areas, and near the occupation line; and ensuring gender equality within the youth policy.
