Guria Regional Development Strategy 2014-2021

The Guria Regional Development Strategy 2014-2021 is a regional multi-sectoral strategy of Georgia’s Guria region. Its main priorities are capacity building of public governance; effective management and use of the natural resources of the region; development of industrial and energy sectors; improvement of the base infrastructure and construction; supporting the manufacturing development; supporting small and medium size enterprises; development of agriculture; development of the regional brand; promoting the foreign investment; development of the tourism industry; improvement of utilities and other public services; formation of functioning social protection and healthcare systems; development education, culture and sports; implementing effective environmental protection measures; and ensuring the development of media and civil sectors, and reduction of gender inequality.
