Kvemo Kartli Regional Development Strategy 2014-2021

The Kvemo Kartli Regional Development Strategy 2014-2021 is a regional multi-sectoral strategy of Georgia’s Kvemo Kartli region. Its main priorities are capacity building of public governance; effective management and use of the natural resources of the region; development of industrial and energy sectors; improvement of the base infrastructure and construction; supporting the agricultural development; promoting the foreign direct investments in the region; supporting small and medium size enterprises; development of the trade and services sectors; development of the tourism industry; improvement of utilities and other public services; formation of functioning social protection and healthcare systems; development education, culture and sports; implementing effective environmental protection measures; and ensuring the development of media and civil sectors, reduction of gender inequality, and integration of ethnic minorities into the public and state life.
