National Forestry Agency Development Strategy and Action Plan 2021-2026

The National Forestry Agency Development Strategy and Action Plan 2021-2026 is a national sectoral strategy and action plan of Georgia. Its main vision is to maintain and improve the quantitative and qualitative indicators of forests; and to support multi-purpose use of the forest based on sustainable development management and rural development. Its more specific initiatives include as follows: improve the planning and management of forests; improve the monitoring and control mechanisms over the activities in forests; and strengthen the institutions related to forestry.
