Abstract
The National Renewable Energy Action Plan (NREAP) is a national sectoral strategy of Georgia. It has the following objectives: outline the current state of affairs as relates to the legislative and institutional framework for renewable energy as per the requirements of the Renewable Energy Directive; and propose a number of policy and investment measures to be undertaken to meet the target of 30% of energy consumed coming from renewable energy for 2020 and implement the Renewable Energy Directive – including likely costs associated with their implementation.
