Order No. 02 of 2019 of Director of Maritime Transport Agency of Georgia on Additional Requirements Imposed on Fishing Vessels of Georgian Flag that are Engaged in International Navigation

This Order provides additional requirements imposed on fishing vessels of Georgian flag that are engaged in international navigation. It consists of six articles: General provisions (1); Definition of terms (2); Fishing vessels that are engaged in illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing (3); Obligations of a fishing vessel (4); Authority of the Maritime Transport Agency (5); and Liability (6). This order has been developed to prevent, stop and eliminate IUU fishing by vessels engaged in international navigation of the Georgian state flag.
