Order No 05 of 2012 of Chair of Natural Resources Agency of Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of Georgia on Rules for Captive Breeding of Endangered Animals and their Capture from Nature

The Order regulates captive breeding and capture of endangered animal species. It consists of nine articles: General provisions (1); Definition of terms (2); Authorization for captive breeding of animals (3); Rules for capturing animals (4); Rules for transporting captured animals or animals from captive breeding (5); Rules for captive breeding of animals (except for fish) (6); Rules for captive breeding of animals (fish species) (7); Approval of and amendments to plan of captive breeding (8); and Liability (9). The Order also approves basic parameters of open-air cages for different types of animals.
