Order No. 10/61 of 2000 of Chairman of State Forestry Department of Georgia on Special Cuts and Carrying Out Thereof

The Order adopts rules for special forest cuts. It consists of 11 sections: Legal basis (1); Scope of application (2); Purpose of special cuts (3); Carrying out special cuts (4); Special cuts in designated area (5); Special cuts for providing population with wood fuel (6); Rules for carrying out special cuts (7); Prohibitions in connection to special cuts (8); Fees for resource obtained from special cuts (9); Environmental protection requirements imposed on special cuts (10); and Liability for carrying out special cuts (11). The purpose of special cuts is to ensure special use and designation of an area of the forest as well as to provide the population with wood fuel.
