Order No 127/N of 2003 of Minister of Labor, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia on Rules for Sanitary Protection of Georgian Territory

The Order regulates sanitary protection of Georgia. It consists of 22 chapters: General provisions and scope of application (I); Terms and definitions (II); Informational supply in the area of sanitary protection of the territory (III); Organization of sanitary protection of the country (IV); Organization of sanitary-quarantine control (V); Measures concerning international transit, cargo, goods, luggage and mail (VI); Requirements for organization of international transport companies (VII); Special requirements in Georgia as well as for counter-epidemics measures (VIII); Special measures when Georgian citizens travel to unsafe countries in terms of quarantine and hazardous diseases (IX); Special measures on board of planes during flight (X); Special measures for prevention of introducing plague (XI); Special measures for prevention of introducing cholera (XII); Special measures for prevention of introducing yellow fever (XIII); Special measures for prevention of introducing contagious virus hemorrhage fevers (XIII); Special measures for prevention of introducing malaria and other diseases that are transmitted by arthropods (XIV); List of counter epidemics measures for ships sailing to unsafe countries concerning those diseases which are regulated by sanitary protection rules of Georgia (XV); Certificate on rat extermination or certification of waiver of rat extermination requirement (XVI); Reporting form for rat extermination in vehicles (XVII); Maritime sanitary declaration (XVIII); Sanitary rules for aircraft general declaration (XIX); International certificate of vaccination or re-vaccination for yellow fever (XX); Rules for filling out the forms on vaccination (XXI); and Short-term training on sanitary-epidemics matters for sailors, customs officers, staff of air and maritime transport as well as employees of restaurants (XXII).
