Order No. 134 of 2016 of Minister of Justice of Georgia on Charter of National Agency of Public Registry

This Order approves the charter of the National Agency of Public Registry. It consists of nine chapters: General provisions (I); Purpose and functions of the Agency (II); Structure of the Agency (III); Management of the Agency (IV); Management of structural units of the Agency, its divisions and territorial offices (V); Purposes and functions of the structural units of the Agency (VI); Purposes and functions of the territorial units of the Agency (VII); Property, financing sources and state control of the Agency (VIII); and Final provisions (IX). The purpose of the Agency is to provide reliable and high quality services to the public and to maintain and ensure access to the registry of real estate, encumbrances on real estate, tax lien/mortgage, movable property and non-material property interests, businesses and non-commercial legal entities, economic activities and physical addresses (together, the public registry), as well as the registries of political parties and municipalities.
