Order No. 2-51 of 2014 of Minister of Agriculture of Georgia on Charter of Legal Entity under Public Law - the Agricultural Scientific-Research Center

This Order approves the charter of the legal entity under public law - the Agricultural Scientific-Research Center. The charter consists of eleven articles: General provisions (1); Purpose of the center (2); Functions of the center (3); Duties of the center (4); Structure of the center (5); Functions of structural units of the center (6); Management and representatives of the center (7); State control of the center (8); Source of the financing of the center (9); Property of the center (10); and Final provisions (11). The purposes of the center are to encourage agricultural development and food production development, research and introduction of new technologies, and raising awareness of persons employed in the agricultural industry; to assess risk in food safety, and veterinary and plant protection areas; to encourage biological production; to assess the threats to agrobiodiversity of plants and animals and to research the ways to address them; and to research the international systems of control of seeds and planting materials, to develop standards, to research their quality characteristics and certification.
