Order No. 2-553 of 2023 of Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia on Rules for Import, Export and Production of Forest Reproductive Materials

This Order provides for the rules regarding import, export and certification of production of reproductive materials obtained in the forest or used for restoration-plantation of forests. It consists of twelve articles: Purpose (1); Definitions (2); Import and export of forest reproductive materials (3); Production of forest reproductive materials (4); Zoning of forests for forest seed purposes (5); Selection inventory of forests and separation of forest plus groves and/or trees (6); Phenological observation on timber plant species for their seed growth and inventory of seed harvest (7); Production of seeds of timber plant species (8); Storage of seeds (9); Determination of standard parameters of seed saplings and saplings of timber plant species (10); Certification of forest reproductive materials (11); and Implementation of forest restorative-planting and protective measures (12).
