Order No. 2-846 of 2021 of Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia on Rules and Terms for Introduction of Alien Species for Aquaculture Operations

This Order approves the rules and terms for the introduction of alien species for aquaculture operations. It consists of eight articles: Scope and purpose (1); Definitions (2); Rules of authorization (3); Emergency measures plan (4); Quarantine measures plan (5); Monitoring (6); List of species (7); and Registry of alien species (8). The purpose of this Order is to protect the biodiversity, natural habitats, ecosystems, and ecosystem services, and preventing adverse effects on local habitats when introducing alien species.
