Abstract
The Order provides rules for physical safety (protection) from nuclear and radiation objects, radioactive sources, radioactive waste and other sources of ionization. It consists of 15 articles: General provisions (1); Scope of regulation (2); Purpose and objectives (3); Purpose and principles of safety (4); Definition of terms (5); Competent agencies in the area of safety from nuclear and radiation objects, radioactive sources, radioactive waste and other sources of ionization (6); Obligations of the operator in the area of safety from nuclear and radiation objects, radioactive sources, radioactive waste and other sources of ionization (7); Safety system (8); Safety from radioactive sources (9); Safety from radioactive waste (10); Safety from the storage and the landfill of radioactive waste (11) Safety when transporting radioactive sources and waste (12); Safety from nuclear materials (13); Safety culture (14); and Ensuring high level of safety (15). The purpose of the regulation is to ensure safety from nuclear and radiation objects, radioactive sources, radioactive waste and other sources of ionization and, therefore, protection of humans, population, environment and property from harmful impact of ionization.
