Order No. 314 – No. 2-60 of 2006 of Minister of Finance and Minister of Agriculture of Georgia on Rural Credit Guidelines of Rural Development Project

This Order adopts the Rural Credit Guidelines of Rural Development Project of Georgia. More specifically, the Government of Georgia (as the Borrower) entered into a Development Credit Agreement with the International Development Association on 28 May, 2005 and Project Financing Agreement with the International Fund for Agricultural Development on June 29, 2005 for the financing of a Rural Development Project. The Ministers of Finance and Minister of Agriculture of Georgia developed joint guidelines that regulate the disbursements of funds from the Project. These Rural Credit Guidelines provide detailed instructions and guidance to the participating financial institutions and to all other participants in Project implementation on the operational modalities, rules and regulations applicable to the management of the financial resources from the noted Credit Line and the additional counterpart funding that will be provided by the Government of Georgia. Utilization of financial resources provided under the Project should comply with these Rural Credit Guidelines.
