Abstract
The Order adopts a charter for National Forest Agency of Georgia. It consists of 19 articles: General provisions (1); Goals and objectives of the Agency (2); Functions of the Agency (3); Supervision and management of the Agency (4); System and structure of the Agency (5); Forest Inventory and Reproduction Department (6); Forest Use and Regional Development Department (7); Financial and Administrative Activities Management Service (8); Legal Service (9); Internal Control Service (10); Management of structural subdivisions of the Agency (11); Employees of the Agency and employment terms (12); Property of the Agency (13); Financing of the Agency (14); Activities of the Agency that require approval (15); State control (16); Accounting (17); Reorganization and liquidation of the Agency (18); and Rules for making additions and amendments to the Charter of the Agency (19). The Order also approves typical charters for forest services (territorial units of the Agency) as its Annex 1. According to the Order, the main goals of the Agency are to protect and restore forest, and to ensure a sustainable use of biological diversity components on the forest territory.
