Abstract
This statute regulates the public relationship between state institutions and individual and legal entities (regardless of their property or organizational-legal structure) within the sphere of accounting of animal species on the limited territory of the state forest fund. The statute covers the state forest fund of Georgia (state industrial forest fund, local forest fund land, agricultural, special and unutilized lands of state forest fund, and protected forest fund lands on which establishment of hunting economy is acceptable), where for establishment of hunting economy, in order to segregate lands for hunting, animal world objects accounting is to be done. The Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources shall be responsible for the registration of wild fauna species. Wild fauna species subject to registration shall be classified as: (a) protected species recorded in the national Red Book; (b) internationally protected species; and (c) species of nutritive or other value. Registration shall be carried out in accordance with the following scheme: (a) location and area of the territory; (b) registration period; (c) registration methods; (d) brief annotation of biotopes; (e) ecological condition of premises; (f) list of registered animal species; (g) quantity, density and hunting quotas of hunting objects; (h) required biotechnical activities and assumed investment volume; and (i) zoning of premises according to the local economy.
