Priorities of Adjara for 2015-2018

The Priorities of Adjara for 2015-2018 is a regional multi-sectoral strategic document of Georgia’s Adjara region. Among others, its main priorities are to support sustainable growth and employment; to increase the effectiveness of the management and disposition of the state property; to market the investment potential of Adjara; to protect the environment and natural resources, to monitor the ecological safety; to support the integrated management of the environment; to manage forests in a sustainable manner; to protect the coastal zones; to increase awareness about ecology; to cooperate with the governmental and non-governmental organizations about environmental protection, to support social protection; to protect cultural monuments; and to increase the competitiveness of the local production and to implement modern agricultural technologies.
