Abstract
The Resolution regulates food and food tare hygiene certificates in Georgia. It consists of eight articles: General provisions (1); Definition of terms (2); Scope of use of the hygiene certificate (3); Issuance of a hygiene certificate (4); List of documents that need to be filed for being issued with a hygiene certificate (5); Hygiene assessment of food/tare and issuance of hygiene certificate (6); Grounds to denial of the certificate (8); and Final provision (9). The Resolution also adopts the form of the certificate. According to the Resolution, its purpose is to protect consumer rights.
