Resolution No. 14 of 2020 of Georgian Government on Unorganized Production of Food/Feed

This Resolution regulates family production subjects that are engaged in the primary production of food/feed in an unorganized manner. The Resolution consists of seven articles: Purpose and scope of application (1); Definition of terms (2); General requirements (3); Unorganized production (4); Requirements imposed on family production subjects (5); Maintaining a registry and deregistration (6); and Liability (7). Unorganized production of food/feed is not subject to the state food/feed safety control, the duty to be recognized as a business operator producing food/feed, hygiene requirements imposed under the Georgian legislation, and the consumer information requirements under the Georgian legislation. Despite these exemptions, the Resolution imposed certain requirements on family production subjects.
