Resolution No. 183 of 2014 of Georgian Government on Rural Support Program

This Resolution approves the Rural Support Program. It consists of eight articles: General provisions (1); Main objectives of the program (2); Sources of financing of the program (3); Size and structure of the program (4); Intended use of the program finances (5); Procedure for disbursing finances under the program (6); Procedure for spending program finances (7); and Coordination and monitoring on program implementation (8). The objectives of the program include financing socio-economic needs of rural areas; public participation and involvement of locals in the solution of local problems; strengthening of relations between the public and the local government; and enhancing local self-governance.
