Resolution No. 190 of 2015 of Georgian Government on Rules for Importing into Georgia Hazardous Organism, Plant, Plant Product and other Phyto-sanitary Regulated Product for Purposes of Experiments, Scientific Research and Selection

The Resolution sets requirements for conducting experiments, scientific research and selection work when they use hazardous organisms. It consists of nine articles: General provisions (1); Purpose and scope of application (2); Definition of terms (3); Importing declared materials into Georgia (4); Terms of importing materials in Georgia (5); Permit issuance (6); Border/customs phyto-sanitary control (7); Authority of the National Food Agency (8); and Termination of quarantine (9). The document also includes forms of an application for the import permit and the form of the permit. The rules of the Regulation apply when the hazardous organisms are imported in Georgia separately or together with other goods.
