Abstract
The Resolution regulates conservation and restoration of forest. It consists of 23 articles: Purpose (1); Definition of terms (2); Forest conservation measures (3); Chopping for conservation (4); Classification of trees (5); Methods of chopping for conservation and selection of trees to be chopped (6); Special requirements imposed on chopping for conservation (7); General requirements for protection of forest from fire (8); Preventive measures against fires (9); Eradication of fires and its results (10); Biological, chemical, selection (genetic) and other means for forest conservation (11); Forest conservation measures during disasters and other unforeseen situations (12); Planning of forest restoration (13); Forest restoration measures (14); Identifying state forest portion requiring restoration (15); Territories subject to restoration (16); Types of forest restoration measures (17); Supporting natural regeneration for forest restoration purposes (18); Selection of forest restoration measures (19); Making a project of forest restoration (20); Stages of forest restoration (21); Planting materials (22); Special requirements for forest restoration (23); and Fencing the territory subject to restoration (24). The purpose of the Resolution is to sustain ecological balance in forests and to prevent negative effects of climate change.
