Abstract
The Resolution regulates phyto-sanitary control of two types of quarantine potato nematodes: Globodera pallida (Stone) Behrens (European population) and Globodera rostochiensis (Wollenveber) Behrens (European population) as well as provides for measures to prevent their dissemination. The Resolution consists of nine articles: General provisions (1); Purpose and scope of application (2); Definition of terms (3); Phyto-sanitary assessment of a plot of land (4); Identification (5); Official assessment of a plot of land (6); Official examination of a plot of land (7); Book-keeping (8); and Control measures (9). The Resolution also includes Annex 1 on List of Hostplant, Other Root, Bulb, Bot Tuberous and Bot Root Runner Plants; and Annex 2 on Protocol of Quality Assessment and Control of Resistance of Potato Nematodes.

The Resolution for most part enters into force from 1 September 2017 and the remaining clauses enter into force from 1 September 2018.
