It consists of 16 articles: General provisions (1); Purpose and scope of application (2); Definitions (3); Terms of placing on the market of plastic materials and items (4); Permitted materials (5); General requirements on the substances (6); Specific requirements on the substances (7); General restrictions on plastic materials and items (8); Specific migration threshold (9); Full migration threshold (10); Multilayer plastic materials and items (11); Multilayer poly-materials items and materials (12); Conformity declaration and the attached documents (13); Depicting the results of migration research/testing (14); Checking the conformity of migration thresholds (15); and Checking the substances that are not in the list (16).
