Resolution No. 317 of 2023 of Georgian Government on Rules for Animal Protection in Transport and Related Operations

This Resolution approves the rules for animal protection in transport and related operations. It consists of four chapters: Scope of regulation, definitions, and general requirements of animal transportation (I); Organizer, shipper, caretaker and packing center (II); Functions and duties of the Agency (III); and Information exchange (IV). The Resolution also approves Annex No. 1 – Technical Rules; Annex No. 2 – Transportation log; Annex No. 3 – Forms; Annex No. 4 – Training; Annex No. 5 – Annual Report Form of the Agency; and Annex No. 6 – International Standards for the Container and Cabin for Transporting Living Animals on Air Transport.
