Abstract
This Resolution approves the rules for the monitoring of zoonoses and zoonotic agents. It consists of 14 articles: Purpose and scope of application (1); Definitions (2); General requirements (3); General rules governing the monitoring of zoonoses and zoonotic agents (4); Coordinated monitoring programs (5); Obligations on food business operator (6); Monitoring of antimicrobial resistance (7); Requirements on epidemiological research related to outbreaks of food-borne diseases (8); Assessment of trends and sources of zoonoses, zoonotic agents and antimicrobial resistance (9); List of zoonoses and zoonotic agents to be included in the monitoring plan (10); List of zoonoses and zoonotic agents to be monitoring in accordance with the epidemiological situations (11); Requirements on monitoring of antimicrobial resistance (12); Coordinated monitoring programs (13); and Requirements imposed on the report provided for under Article 9(2)(4) of this Rule.
