Abstract
This Resolution provides for the State Program of Implementing International Standards and Branding within Agricultural Cooperatives implemented by the Georgian government. It consists of 10 articles: General provisions (1); Definition of terms (2); Support provided by the Program (3); State procurement that needs to be undertaken for the Program (4); Requirements for participating in the Program (5); Informational campaign (6); Submitting and reviewing electronic applications for the participation in the Program (7); Entering into an agreement with a participant (8); Legal consequences of non-compliance with the obligations by a participant (9); and Monitoring of the Program (10). The Program aims to support agricultural cooperatives meet international standards in their production, have their produce become more popular, as well as to ensure the safety, traceability, trustworthiness and competitiveness of the food produced by such agricultural cooperatives.
