Resolution No. 445 of 2022 of Georgian Government on Minimum Requirements for Protection of Pigs

This Resolution approves the minimum requirements for the protection of pigs. It consists of minimum requirements as well as general requirements for the protection of pigs, and applies to the pigs confined for rearing and fattening. Among others, the Resolution touches upon confinement, feeding, certification of compliance with minimum requirements, hygiene, electrical safety, heating, temperature and ventilation, and various other requirements for the welfare and health of pigs.
