Resolution No. 515 of 2018 of Georgian Government on Rules and Terms for Presenting Proposals to and Reviewing Proposals by Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development regarding Technical-Economic Assessment, Construction, Possession and Operation of those Electricity Generation Facilities which are not Public Private Partnership Projects

This Resolution provides for the rules and terms for presenting proposals to and reviewing proposals by the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development regarding technical-economic assessment, construction, possession and operation of those electricity generation facilities which are not public private partnership projects. It consists of eight articles: General provisions (1); Definitions (2); Organization of the project implementation (3); Reviewing an application and making a decision (4); Rules for formalizing an agreement (5); Bank guaranty that needs to be presented with the agreement/memorandum (6); Liability of the person undertaking the project (7); and Changing/cancelling terms and/or forgiveness of penalty imposed/to be imposed under the agreement/memorandum (8). Such projects are ultimately authorized by the Georgian Government after it is prepared by the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.
