Resolution No. 617 of 2021 of Georgian Government on Technical Regulation regarding Walnuts

This Resolution approves the technical regulation regarding walnuts. It consists of eight articles: Purpose and scope of regulation (1); Object of regulation (2); Terms (3); General requirements on the regulated object (4); Requirements on walnuts in shell (5); Requirements on walnut kernels (6); Requirements on business operators (7); and Conformity control of the regulated object (8). The technical regulation also approves Table 1 – Permitted deviation from the quality of walnuts in shell; Table 2 – Permitted deviation from the quality of walnut kernels; Table 3 - Permitted deviation from the style/form of kernels; and Annex 1 – Conformity declaration.
