Abstract
This Resolution approves the emergency measures to prevent the spread of the pine wood nematode Bursaphelenchus xylophilus (Steiner et Buhrer) Nickle et al. It consists of 18 articles: General provisions (1); Definitions (2); Places where the pine wood nematode is not known (3); Laboratory research (4); Emergency management action plan (5); Demarcation of the territory (6); Elimination measures (7); Containment (8); Informing the public and the person responsible for transportation (9); Transporting host plants, receiving timber and husk (10); Control measures for transporting from demarcated to non-demarcated territories and from the infect zone to a buffer zone (11); Measures to be taken in case of non-conformity during the transportation of host plants, receiving timber and husk (12); Registration of processing enterprises (13); Granting the authority to mark (14); State control of the registered processing enterprise and wood packaging materials (15); Suspension and revocation of registration of the registered processing enterprise and wood packaging materials (16); State control (17); and Authority of the Revenue Service (18).
