Resolution No. 71 of 2022 of Georgian Government on Management Plan for Borjomi-Kharagauli Protected Areas, Ktsia-Tabatskuri Managed Reserve and Goderdzi Petrified Forest Natural Monument

This Resolution approves the management plan for the Borjomi-Kharagauli Protected Areas, the Ktsia-Tabatskuri Managed Reserve and the Goderdzi Petrified Forest Natural Monument. It consists of seven chapters: Introduction (I); Description of the protected areas (II); Long-term goals (III); Situational analysis (IV); Internal zoning of protected areas (V); Programs of the management plans (VI); and Monitoring of the management plans (VII). Among others, the plan provides for biodiversity, landscapes, geology and hydrology, climate, territorial and recreational potential, traditional activities and sustainable use of natural resources, historical and cultural values, and eco-educational potential.
