Abstract
The Resolution regulates recognition of business operators in food industry. It consists of six articles: Purpose and scope of application (1); General principles of recognition as a business operator (2); Procedure of recognition (3); Revocation and reinstatement of recognition (4); Obligations of business operators (5); and Rules of appellation (6). Under the Resolution, it is mandatory to undergo the recognition process if the business operator is, except in certain cases, involved in production and/or processing of food of animal origin; and production and/or processing of regulated animal feed. The recognition is conducted by the National Food Agency of Georgia.
