Resolution No. 75 of 2023 of Georgian Government on Minimum Rules for Protection of Chickens Kept for Meat Production

This Resolution approves the minimum rules for the protection of chickens kept for meat production. It consists of six articles: Scope of application and purpose (1); Definitions (2); Requirements of keeping chickens (3); Education and manuals for individuals involved in activities related to chickens (4); Inspection (5); and Manual of the good management practices (6). The Resolution also approves Annex No. 1 – Requirements applicable to holdings; Annex No. 2 – Requirements for the use of higher stocking densities; Annex No. 3 – Monitoring and follow-up at the slaughterhouse; Annex No. 4 – Training; and Annex No. 5 – criteria for the use of increased stocking density.
