State Youth Strategy 2023-2026 and its 2023 Action Plan

The State Youth Strategy 2023-2026 and its 2023 Action Plan is a national multi-sectoral strategy and action plan. Its main objective is to support the full realization of the youth potential as the renewable source of human capital of the country.
More specifically, it provides for supporting informal education and youth activities; strengthening youth health and welfare; supporting the healthy lifestyle of the youth; improving the psychological health of the youth; reducing the chemical and behavioral additions among the youth; fighting against the youth violence and violence against the youth, as well as antisocial behaviors, including discrimination; fighting against child/early marriages and adolescent pregnancy; improving the protection of personal information of the youth/children; supporting the quality and decent jobs for the youth; strengthening entrepreneurship among youth; supporting the participation of the youth in civil and democratic processes; strengthening the civil responsibility among the youth; encouraging volunteer activities; supporting the participation of the youth in decision-making; creating mechanisms that support youth organizations and initiative groups; developing programs and services tailored to the youth with less financial capabilities, with disabilities, and of different ethnic and religious backgrounds; developing programs and services for the youth residing in the occupied territories of Georgia; and supporting the development of youth policies.
