Strategic Plan of Ministry of Agriculture of Adjara for 2012-2014

The Strategic Plan of the Ministry of Agriculture of Adjara for 2012-2014 is a regional sectoral strategic plan of Georgia’s Adjara region. It provides that the mission of the Ministry is to form agri-food sector that is competitive and protected from risks and based on the sustainability principles, as well as to ensure food security. The Plan’s specific objectives include to support an intensification of production of agricultural products; to promote the production and investments in the agri-food sector; to promote the interests and cooperation of the persons and organizations involved in the agri-food sector; to diversify, promote and improve the effectiveness of the services of the Ministry and its units; and to improve the institutional potential of the Ministry.
