Strategy for the Development of Mtskheta-Mtianeti Region for 2016-2021

The Strategy for the Development of Mtskheta-Mtianeti Region for 2016-2021 is a regional multi-sectoral strategy of Georgia’s Mtskheta-Mtianeti region. Its main objectives are environmental protection and maintaining ecological balance; supporting the development of sustainable innovation in the region; improving the investment environment, and developing small and medium-sized businesses that are oriented to export; agricultural development; sustainable development of tourism; development of innovative sectors of the economy and attracting investments; improving access to education and sport services; improving access to healthcare and social protection services; improving transport services; improving the social and utilities infrastructure; and improving the regional self-governance and the local government.
