Strategy for the Development of Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti Region for 2014-2021

The Strategy for the Development of Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti Region for 2014-2021 is a regional multi-sectoral strategy of Georgia’s Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti region. Its main objectives are improvement of local government capacity; effective management of the region’s natural resources; supporting the industry in the region; developing the basic infrastructure; supporting small and medium-size businesses; supporting the development of tourism; supporting agricultural development; attracting foreign investments; creating the region’s brand; improving the utilities and other public services; developing a functioning system of healthcare and social protection; developing the education, culture and sport; improving the environmental protection services; and supporting the media and social engagement and reducing the gender inequality.
