Abstract
The Subsoil Resources Sector Strategy of Georgia is a national sectoral strategy of Georgia. It aims to implement fundamental reforms in the sector affecting the legal framework and management, as well as financial and economic use optimization in order to create additional value in the country’s overall GDP. A modern market-oriented subsoil resources strategy will support a sustainable development of the sector and increase the socio-economic and financial benefits, will support the environmental monitoring mechanism, as well as will create additional value chain both in short- and long-term periods.
