Abstract
This Act establishes the Ghana Infrastructure Investment Fund (GIIF); which is wholly owned by the Republic of Ghana, and is established with the purpose of mobilizing, managing, coordinating, and providing financial resources for investment in a diversified portfolio of infrastructure projects to support national development. As an independent entity, the Fund operates with legal and operational autonomy, sourcing money from public funds, loans, grants, and investments. It is governed by a Board responsible for strategic oversight and supported by an Advisory Committee that offers expert input. The Fund ensures transparent and accountable operations, including disbursement procedures, application reviews, and expense management, all underpinned by tax exemptions, regular audits, and compliance with approved investment policies and internal regulations. A Chief Executive Officer and appointed staff manage its daily affairs, reinforcing its mission to drive sustainable infrastructure growth across Ghana. The Act consists of 33 Articles.
