Abstract
This Law establishes a 12 nautical mile territorial sea, a contiguous zone that may not extend beyond 24 nautical miles from the baselines from which the breadth of the territorial sea is measured, a 200 economic exclusive zone and a continental shelf that extends beyond the territorial sea throughout the natural prolongation of its land territory to a distance of 200 nautical miles from the baselines from which the breadth of the territorial sea is measured.
