Abstract
These Regulations, made under section 110 of the Mining Act, provide for selected matters to implement provisions of the Act, including, among other things, exportation, sale and disposal of minerals, conditions of mineral rights, obligations under a reconnaissance licence, and obligations of holder of prospecting licence.
The holder of a reconnaissance licence shall comply with the terms and conditions of any Environmental Permit that relates to the operations and shall repair or make good any damage caused to the surface of the land to the satisfaction of the Environmental Protection Agency and the Commission. Also a holder of a prospecting licence shall make good any damage to the surface of the ground occasioned by the removal, to the reasonable satisfaction of the Environmental Protection Agency and the Commission.
